Onesimus expresses Discontent With TikTok

onesimus took social media platforms to voice his frustration with the meager earnings he receives from using his songs on TikTok. In a recent Facebook post, the artist expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that he would only consider allowing his music on the app once it starts paying artists adequately.





Onesimus emphasized the importance of tangible financial gains from platforms like TikTok. He argued that it is disheartening for artists to see their music being used on TikTok without receiving substantial compensation in return. The artist's Facebook post highlighted the need for monetary rewards, stating that fame alone is not sufficient.


In a separate post, Onesimus urged his followers to imagine having their music featured on TikTok but having nothing to show for it. He emphasized that artists deserve more than just recognition and urged platforms like TikTok to ensure that artists are adequately compensated for their success.
